House prices grew by 8.6% YoY in December 2022, following an increase of 13.6% YoY in the previous quarter. Singapore’s strategic location, excellent infrastructure, and welcoming business environment make it an attractive destination for foreign direct investment (FDI). Changi Airport offers direct flights to major business hubs, while its seaport infrastructure is highly regarded. 3. Remote Work and Evolving Workspaces

In 2021, condominiums rented 58,613 units, an increase of 6.8% from 2020, while HDB rentals increased by 4% to 21,924 units. As borders continue to open and demand for rental properties grows, rental rates are expected to increase by 8-11% in the coming years.

5. En Bloc Market Revival

The en bloc market, which experienced a frenzy of activity in 2017 and 2018, is poised for a comeback. With cooling measures in place, homebuyers who already own a property are incentivized to sell their existing properties before purchasing a new one. This trend, combined with a low supply of completed urban development projects due to construction delays caused by COVID-19 safety mandates, is expected to drive renewed interest in en bloc purchases.
